Welcome to Cisco-update blog

Welcome guys,

Thanks to God, with this blog is finally created. This blog is inspired by my experience as the beginner of Network Administrator. At first time I learn how Cisco Router Works, but this is very confusing. Without basic knowledge about unix and dbase this is very hard.
First Time I configure the Router AS5200, it was 2 books and a dozen of document from Cisco I red, and took me about 3 months to have the Router works.
After the first success, I become more confident and try to understand how the command is affect to the routers itself.
The main key is learn and learn, then braveness to try, don't be give-up, asking someone who experienced.
Thanks to Cisco Documentation it was wonderful help.

To you all guys, never mind you are new or expert practice will make perfect.. so keep practice and practice... again thanks for visiting my blog my you satisfied with its content.

...Ok, this looks good, and you don't have this applied on the vtys at all? Do
you have privilege level 15 setup for the group that your ID is in in tacacs?
I guess all of this may be moot if you are saying that the command got re-put
in. At its base, either you put it in on a different device (i know, dumb
statement), it got reverted on reboot - Fri, Jan 25 2008 5:42 am

weird question: dot1q and hub - 2 new
-------------------------------------
I know this is a weird question, but someone asked me and I thought I'd throw
it out. I have no intention of implimenting it to see, but it started me
thinking. A client wanted to know if he could run a dot1q trunk through a hub.
Basically two cisco switches, trunked together but somewhere between them a
hub. - Fri, Jan 25 2008 7:22 am

switches and does anyone know whether or not you can change the port's admin
status (link up/down) and the port's access VLAN using SNMP? I'd prefer not to

4 Mbps WAN connection is not that big. If you had multiple 1,000 Mb/s

total in excess of over 2 Gig/s each and they aren't considered "big". We do
not use any of the 6500 service modules because 1) they are too - Fri, Jan 25

do QoS marking, but you can't traffic-shape, do WRED or any of the other fancy

I work for a company that is a small ISP. We have customers that we provide

problem with the PPtP users but the L2TP user can't seem to login. Here is my
